The Art Market of WGFAU will be at Autumn Art on the Marsh Sunday September 28 10 - 4.
Wild Goose Fine Arts United (WGFAU) is a fine arts association of talented local professional and non-professional artists representing a variety of visual arts including: painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, drawing, metalworking, and sculpture. Our group consists of both artists and supporters of the arts.
The WGFAU vision is to bring art into the communities they serve which follow Wisconsin’s Wild Goose Trail that extends from Clyman to Fond du Lac and includes Mayville, Horicon, Iron Ridge, Hustisford, Oakfield and surrounding areas.
We will accomplish this by creating venues, events and classes for area artists to showcase their work and engage the communities in the arts. We hope that by inviting people from other areas that they will discover what our region has to offer which helps to boost our local economies.
Some of our events include, Meet & Mingles hosted by various local businesses, plein air events at local parks and Horicon Marsh, a fine arts show at The Jersey Street International Music Festival, and our traveling boutique, The Art Market of WGFAU which will be at the Horicon Farmer’s Market every Wednesday from June 4th – August 27th along with other venues.
Wild Goose Fine Arts United & Beaver Dam Area Arts Association (BDAAA) has a reciprocal partnership between their two organizations. BDAAA already works jointly with Duck Creek Arts Guild & Waupun Fine Arts which gives all of our artists the ability to share instructors in a variety of mediums & cross promote events, classes & exhibits.
